Our Cause
You Read, You Give! is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping schools and children in need. You Read, You Give!, founded by Sofie E. Barroeta-Fonseca, raises donations through the publication of storybooks written by student writers. The entirety of the proceeds from donations goes directly to the benefit of the children in need.
Below is a children's storybook written by Sofie E. Barroeta-Fonseca and illustrated by Kalli D. Robinson called "Nia's Fall."
In this book, you will also read about how Sofie's 3.5-week service trip to a school/albergue in a remote town in the north of Argentina turned into the most inspiring experience from which this foundation as well as this fundraiser project were born. She provides insightful information about the children in this school/albergue in Ocloyas, Argentina including their daily lives, their struggles, their human quality, her motivation to help them, and most importantly how your contribution will plant a seed in the blossoming futures of the children of Ocloyas.
